Mission Statement for Sage-Heart Counseling PLLC

Providing wisdom and compassion for your mental wellness journey through creative and competent psychotherapy.

About Me

I recently relocated to Fayetteville, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to open Sage-Heart Counseling PLLC. I’m very anxious to meet and work with the people of this community!

I come to this career late in life, and I rather like being a late-bloomer!  I believe my clients benefit from the lifetime of experiences and learning I bring to the table. My clients also benefit from the passion I have for my work. That passion was bottled up for years, and now it’s pouring out! I love the work I do.

I’m the wife, mother, daughter, niece, aunt and sister-in-law of both veterans and active duty military members.  Even so, ranks, military dates, military time and acronyms remain a challenge for me.  Please forgive.  I try.

I’m quite fond of spending time with family, chillaxin’ and playing games. But, on most regular days, I enjoy getting outdoors and often hike with my Border Collie, Lily. I like to frequent the local farmers market and enjoy cooking while listening to music. And, yes. Sometimes, I dance in the kitchen. I appreciate a captivating book and am always looking for the next good read.

About the Sage-Heart Counseling PLLC Office

The office is conveniently located about one mile from All American Freeway and Cliffdale in Fayetteville. I’m able to offer a few spaces for our work together. In the main office space, there’s an art table for various play and expressive therapeutic endeavors, and there’s also an area to simply sit and talk. The Sand Tray room is an adjacent space that features sand trays and shelves filled with hundreds of miniature objects to give you an opportunity to experience sand tray work. Many of the objects in the Sand Tray room are multi-purpose and can be used in Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy or ACT.
